Our Story

Alphabet of Life was created in 2014 by the founders of The Montessori Institute of San Diego, an institution that has served more than 1,000 children in their model classrooms and trained over 1,500 students from all over the world throughout the course of decades to become Montessori teachers. Dr. Silvia C. Dubovoy is the unstoppable force behind this inspiring effort. Alongside her daughters Vivian and Sharon, who have been working with her for over ten years, Dr. Dubovoy decided to amplify their message by sharing their expertise and building an educational consulting company that can respond to the needs of soon-to-be parents, new parents, parents with children, educators, caregivers and schools.

In the same way one would need to know the alphabet to learn how to read and write, it is necessary for everyone with the responsibility of caring for a child to understand how they can best support their development. This support system based in scientific knowledge and observation of children all over the world is something that is necessary and indispensable to the life of a child. We wish to question pre-established ideas about education and aim to inspire others by communicating that there is a better way to help children become more balanced, happier, and healthier through the combined knowledge of their physical, psychological and emotional needs. Alphabet of Life is an all-encompassing company that offers knowledge, adult training, consultation, design ideas, best practices, products and services for humanity’s best -the children.
